Hi, I'm Elissa!
I'm an artist based on Boston's North Shore, where I create dimensional paper collages in response to the rich layers and color play of nature. Each piece is hand-cut, painted, and constructed to invite a dance between light and shadow, weight and delicacy.

These works are quietly autobiographical—what I think of as “remembered landscapes.” They reflect environments and moments that have shaped my way of seeing: the sun-bleached marshlands near my home, the shifting slant of sunlight in my studio as autumn arrives, or the blue wakefulness of nights with a newborn.

My hope is that these remembered landscapes resonate with your own sense of place and memory, and find new meaning as they become part of your story.
I invite you to explore my current work, or visit my substack to see what’s taking shape.
